What confuses me is that you can still buy the ship with doubleloons. But it's just a guess, maybe there are other reasons as well.īut i remember at first Saipan was sold only through personal offers in the client to some players - those who have played enough with CVs of comparable tiers. Maybe it's done to prevent oversaturating game with ships considered OP while in fact they are tricky to use and a lot of bad players buy them and set-up their team this way.(This tend to happen with overly popular ships like Tirpitz) Premium ships don't make them better players. Most do return sometime later, so just wait for next sale. Ships sold through premium shop(and client) and constantly changing over time(and may also differ by game region).

The only other game I've seen doing this are large scale MMOs with thousands of players ingame at any given time but even then you can transfer your account at will.Originally posted by Ryuu:From that link: "USS Saipan is available exclusively from 13 April at 07:10 CEST until 2 May at 07:00 CEST" This is backwards in all kinds of ways and I don't understand why you'd not resolve that.

I'm forced to either play with these couple of friends in the US or the other couple of friends in the EU but none of these (or me for that matter) can come over and play with the other group. I would have to make accounts for every seperate region reason because of this. They have been too lazy to unify account management since the beginning and seperate it from game servers. If you use old account and chose wrong realms - edit or delete preferences.xml If your friends did that and want to play with you - then they should contact it. But try contacting wargaming support, maybe they can sort it out. Did you accidentally create account through Steam in wrong game realm? Well, it's actually your fault. I've hold off on the entire Wargaming line-up because of this and even now there's no solution. Now I basically can't play the game because friends use their local servers and I use mine.
